A marketing fee pays for people and time: planning what to post, writing captions, designing posts and reels, publishing on schedule, replying to comments, and reporting what happened. Ads add campaign setup, testing and weekly budget changes. A fair quote tells you which of these are included and how many posts you get each month.

Keep the two apart. The fee goes to the agency; the ad spend goes to Meta or Google. Paying ads from your own ad account means you can see every dollar or rupee spent and keep the account if you change agency.

- Captions and design in your brand.
- A monthly report with reach, followers and messages from the platforms themselves.
- For ad packages: the number of enquiries and what each one cost.
How to judge the result
Likes are easy to buy and say little. Count enquiries: messages, calls and form leads, and which post or ad brought each one. When enquiries are tracked to their source, you can stop what does not work and spend more on what does.
